The Rival Mob - Raw Life

I approve of this. Think awesome, fresh, NYHC-influenced stuff. Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

Tragedy - Vengeance

There's already a Tragedy-post but this is missing, along with a split with Totalitär. Whatever though. For people into From Ashes Rise and His Hero Is Gone.

Pressure - Demo '09

Mediafire has been fucking with me lately but I managed to get this demo up today. It's from, imo, one of Europe's currently best hardcore bands. I believe that they are from Portugal. Check it out.

Reagan Youth - A Collection of Pop Classics

A compilation of the two releases (from '89 and 90') that followed Youth Anthems. Everything released after this are live recordings and demos and whatnot.

Vision of Disorder - Vision of Disorder

90's hardcore band from New York though I don't know if I would label them having the traditional NYHC-sound. Much like this cover, they did something new. This was the debut full-length.

Strife - One Truth

First LP from '94. Another one of those big bands.

Reach the Sky - So Far From Home

First full-length from this late 90's/early 00's Boston band. Good stuff.

MDC - Anthology

Short for Millions of Dead Cops, Multi-Death Corporation, Millions of Damn Christians... List goes on, band is great regardless. I think this is everything by them in a compilation of 30 songs. One of those early bands you sort of should know about.

Negative Approach - Total Recall

Some of the best the 80's had to offer when it comes down to hardcore. Discography release.

UPDATE: Mediafire took this down again. Will re-up soon.

Gone But Not Forgotten - Demo '08

New Seattle band. Much like Free Spirit, they play fast and awesome youth crew. Get this stuff.

Better Than a Thousand

Ha, I just realized the last two posts were both about dark days. So let's get posi with Ray of Today. This was his sideproject during his time in Shelter. Two releases from '97 and '99, here you go.

Lewd Acts - Dark Days

Awesome as fuck. Heading to Europe later this year, BE SURE TO CATCH THEM.

Trial - Through the Darkest Days

I looove Trial so I just had to complete their discog on here. If you are unfamiliar with Trial, they were, imo, one of the best bands from the 90's. You absolutely, most definitely, without a doubt need this.

Reagan Youth - Youth Anthems for the New Order

I'm going to tag this as hardcore but it's more punk than anything. Pretty important 80's NY-band. This was their first LP.

In My Eyes - Nothing to Hide

No introduction necessary. Crucial for people into youth crew.

Articles of Faith - Anthology

I don't know what to say except that you should really get this if you're into '80's hardcore. Some of the best from it.

Side By Side - You're Only Young Once

Re-release by Revelation in '97. Only release by these guys. Their drummer has a pretty cool history with Judge, Youth of Today, Project X and a few more good bands. 1988 youth crew!

Thorr's Hammer - Dommedagsnatt

I've been listening to a bunch of Doom, Drone, and Sludge the past few months, and this is easily one of my favorite albums that I've found in that time.
Thorr's Hammer was formed by Greg Anderson and Stephen O'Malley(probably better known to most as the dudes in Sunn O)))) in the winter of '94 up in Washington state. A foreign exchange student from Norway did vocals, and she did a pretty damn good job. After she returned to Norway, Thorr's Hammer disbanded and then O'Malley and Anderson went on to play in a ton of well known bands.
If you're into Sunn O))), Goatsnake, or any of O'Malley and Anderson's bands, and you somehow missed this, or if you're just in the mood for some good fucking Doom, download it bros.
